     In lights of the Virginia Business Development Mission, Knox Hubbard, Contact Person in the partnership for economic development, Virginia (VEDP) said that Virginia companies became eager to introduce their products in the field of modern technology to the Saudi market, during their meeting on Monday, December 6, 2010 in Al-Khobar in coordination with the Chamber and Saudi-American Business Council.
     
     
    Hubbard, who chaired a trade mission to the Eastern Region ensured that Virginia has a lot to offer to the Kingdom, especially in the areas of chemical industries , information technology ,machinery, and  agro-industry, adding that the companies of Virginia has the latest technology and has expertise deals in these sectors of the economy and went on saying: "We are here to offer our products sharing the experience with our counterparts in Saudi Arabia to develop new business ".
     
    The trade mission consisting of 8 members operating in the following areas: IT,Water,RFID technology, Law enforcement agencies., Defense equipment, and DNA analysis. 
     

    He also pointed to the distinctive and unique productsfor companies in Virginia that have been used in the cleaning , characterized by preservation of the environment in addition to currently used technology to reduce rates of water consumption by 60 to 70 percent compared with traditional methods.
     
    Hubbard revealed about Hempel new product for car wash without using water, which is a safe way to maintain the environmental and personal vehicles in addition to being used to clean fleets of trucks and commercial aircraft, military and cargo ships.

    Noting that the mission include a representative of the company Hanbury Wright Vlattas, a company that specializes in architecture and have experience in planning and design appropriate for higher education institutions and interested in building universities and residential complexes for students, libraries and facilities for the classroom , adding that the company representative, Michael Evans, visited the University of Dammam and discussed with management the possibility of cooperation in this area.

     
    Nevertheless, Hubbard said that the Kingdom is a such a country of trade and investment opportunities as it is home to many business organizations with the global level, which was run by a group of talented entrepreneurs.
